Leonotis Leonurus is a large shrub that is a member of the mint family and native to Southern Africa. It has been said that the dried leaves and flowers of the plant possess a mild calming effect when smoked; however, it is not uncommon for teas to be made from the plant material.
Studies have shown that in high doses, the plant had negative effects on the organs of the lab rats tested. Specifically, the negative effects were with organs, red and white blood cells, and other important bodily functions.
All of our extracts are sold in powdered form with a numeric representation of the extract concentration. For example, 50:1 means that 50 kilograms of raw powder is equal to 1 kilogram of extract.
As with any plant-derived product, it is advised that you consult a medical professional before choosing to consume it as a dietary supplement.
